The visualization shows, among other things, that social media are important platforms for B2B target groups. A large majority believes that organizations should use social media and as many as 85 percent expect interaction on these platforms. But only 36 percent of B2B companies do this on Facebook.
The popular social network is mainly used for broadcasting activities, such as publishing information (85 percent) and content in the form of media (62.4 percent). Interaction with the target group is in third place, followed by customer service (27.2 percent) and actions/giveaways (23 percent).
…and support in the purchasing process
Not only social media are important online channels for B2B target groups. Of this group, 39 percent find it the power of telemarketing with databases for your company important to receive relevant e-mail. For them, it is an important source of information in the purchasing process. Chatting is also an important online tool: 90 percent of people believe this is a useful channel. Almost three quarters of the target group find the corporate website an important medium in the decision-making process and 83 percent would like to receive help with this. If they do not receive help, half give up.
